About Carlos Ibanez

Carlos Ibanez studied biology at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. His PhD work was conducted at the Leloir Institute (formerly known as Fundacion Campomar) under the direction of Carlos Frasch. The papers published during his PhD are available HERE. Carlos Ibanez did postdoctoral studies at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden, under the direction of the late Hakan Persson. The list of articles published during his postdoc is available HERE. In 1996, Carlos Ibanez became Professor in Neuroscience at the Department of Neuroscience, Karolinska Institute (KI) in Stockholm, Sweden. Information about his KI laboratory can be found HERE. Since the Fall of 2012, Carlos Ibanez is Professor at the Department of Physiology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
